Andrew McIntosh is a Scottish artist who paints abandoned buildings with wonderful interiors, transforming them into new structures. Merging reality with surreal things, you can see the deserted structures opening up to dreamlike and out of this world paintings.
McIntosh likes to explore different buildings around his country, searching for the one with the most layers and an interesting past waiting to be unfold.
“As you look closer at the paintings you will notice a cutaway voyeuristically offering a view into the building. Here I enjoy depicting the obsessive subject as an incongruous fantastic element, sometimes beside a masterpiece or a fresco,” he wrote on his website.
