Graphic designer and audiovisual producer Javier Pérez has a unique view on the everyday objects that surround him. For Pérez, these items are ideal pieces that can be combined into quirky drawings and fun stop-motion videos.
“I want people to be able to take a break from the saturation of photos in general. “Create every day. No matter your skills,” Pérez wrote on his website.
The Ecuador-based artist reimagined an open book as a piano and sunglasses can be transformed into a cello.
“My main inspiration comes from daily objects, the most common appear as the most attractive to me,” Pérez told Huffington Post. “Usually ideas come to me when I am on the bus, walking or running. I archive my ideas in sketches, and then I work on them little by little. A lot of the photos I publish are old ideas that I had archived.”
