Wesley Fleming is a glass artist who makes delicately detailed, flame-worked glass sculptures.
The artist started working with hot glass in 2001. Working with his glass insects, he imitates the actual species with intricate details while other pieces are a result of his creative imagination.
“I individually hand-make all of my sculptures over a torch, using Effetre brand soda-lime (aka “soft”) glass rods and properly anneal them in a digitally-controlled kiln,” he wrote on Etsy.
