Emily Seilhamer is a talented artist who love using unconventional materials in her art. Her passions in life include painting, upcycling, sewing and crafting. She’s a self-taught artist who owns an art-based service business called “Connecting in Color,” where she helps others “connect” and “grow” as artists. She finds beauty in every discarded thing and creates “value” from these found objects.

Every Christmas season, Seilhamer and her husband would make unconventional Christmas tree. For this year, they used a stack of paint samples from their house repairs. To form the tree structure, they used some old Venetian blinds and wires. Then they glued the paint samples, added some decorations and voila! A one of a kind Christmas tree.  The star is also made from the blinds. Check out their incredible creation below.
