Artist Creates Realistic Animals Using Wool Fiber

Yvonne’s Workshop, an online shop specializing in needle felted animal sculptures, is owned by German artist Yvonne Herbst, currently living in the USA.

After 10 years working as a painter at Pixar Animation Studios, she now find herself submerged in sculpting wool fibers through needle felting. She said that art and inspiration is everywhere and she cannot pin point her obsessions to just one form of expression.

“you will find all sorts of different items in my shop, namely everything that grabs my fancy at the time. Everything is one of a kind and unique,” Herbst wrote on her website.
