Artist Depicts True Love Through Her Adorable Illustrations

Los Angeles-based artist Amanda Oleander portrays true love in the most sincere way, inspired by her own love story.

Oleander is best known for her cute illustrations that depict “life behind closed doors.” Her drawings included everyday scenes based on her own experience. She gives the viewers an intimate look at her daily activities, featuring herself and her fiancé.

The artist noted that each moment is universal. “Most of my current illustrations are inspired by my personal love story with my fiancé,” she told MyModern Met.

“I illustrate our story and I have come to find by doing so I am also illustrating the love stories of thousands around the world. [It] is very nice to know how similar we all are no matter what language we speak or where we are from.”
