Part of the reason why her Instagram reels quickly blew up is her budget-friendly approach to exploring the Austrian capital.

]]>David White fell in love with glass art during his time at Tulane University in New Orleans, Louisiana. This art form came into his life by a happy accident, after he took a glassblowing class to fulfill the art credit requirement.
“After the first glass class, I made sure to include as much glass as my course schedule would fit. After four years of learning to work with the most fickle and beautiful art form in the world, I wanted glass to remain part of my life,” he wrote on his official website.
White’s adventure with glass art continued while he worked as an apprentice for the New Orleans glassblowing icon Andrew Jackson Pollack. He was introduced to flameworking during this time, and this technique eventually became the cornerstone of his artistic process. It helped him craft some of the most stunning dinosaur skeleton sculptures that you’ll ever come across, made entirely of glass.

]]>McLaughlin, who works as a graphic designer at sportswear maker Rebook, uses her free time to push the boundaries of fashion. Her fashion creations are crafted using material that isn’t usually used for clothes and shoes and generally have a futuristic-like look.
According to McLaughlin, this is a passion project and a way to express his creativity. However, it also helps her generate ideas for her day job.
“I truly love the idea of personal projects, and I encourage everyone to do them, even if you’re not a designer,” she shares. “It’s self-gratification, and nobody can tell you you’re wrong because it’s yours!”
McLaughlin’s fashion items can sometimes look a bit over-the-top or downright bizarre. However, this is purposely so as it allows the designer to challenge the fashion norms. Her message to observers is to look at her creations with an open mind and not to take them “too seriously.”
The talented Boston-based designer usually shares her quirky fashion on Instagram, where she has more than 800K followers. Continue scrolling to see more of them below.

]]>Brisket appeared during countless red carpet events, photoshoots, and interviews alongside Powell in recent weeks, and that’s not a coincidence. He adopted him from the Labelle Foundation while filming Twisters and even took a weekend off filming to fly to LA and meet him.
It didn’t take long for Brisket to connect with the rest of the cast and crew, and his presence on set brought them closer together.
“There’s something wonderful about animals, about how they can bring our walls down a bit and expedite friendships and things like that. So yeah, Brisket’s been amazing. I consider him the best special feature of Twisters,” Powell told Entertainment Weekly.
Brisket became so popular that his absence from the actual film inspired many viral tweets people expected him to appear in Twisters. Powell even started a separate Instagram account for his rescue dog @hotbrisket, which quickly attracted over 60,000 followers.

]]>Created by artist Svetlana Petrova, the works from the FatCatArt project depict Zarathustra peaking behind the flower vase in Vincent van Gogh’s “Sunflowers,” resting in the arms of a man in El Greco’s “The Nobleman”, or being melted from too much snoozing in Salvador Dali’s “The Persistence of Memory”.
Zarathustra’s invasions of famous paintings have delighted social media users, who love the cat’s chubby look and how he always manages to be the star of any artwork he finds himself in. The FatCatArt has a dedicated and ever-growing audience on Instagram, amassing more than 281K followers there.
According to Petrova, she stumbled on the idea to make Zarathustra the star of iconic works of art from the past by accident. Looking for inspiration, she turned to Zarathustra and decided to make a still-life painting with him as the main subject. In order to get a rough idea of what that would look like, she snapped a few photos of the cat and photoshopped him into some classical paintings she found online.
Petrova was quite amused by the results and decided to share some of those works with friends. They thought it was hilarious, and the FatCatArt was born. Now, Zarathustra is present in more than 250 famous paintings, and we hope that the number will keep on getting bigger because we can’t get enough of the orange cat’s antics.

However, he once again found a way back to art when he got older and discovered it gives him “happiness and peace of mind.”
“Nowadays, I have more wisdom, and I’ve grown to love the craft of producing a finished painting,” he explains on his website.
Musil works almost exclusively with acrylic paints as he likes to work fast and blend as little as possible. This technique allows him to be prolific, finishing one or two paintings each week.
Musil offers his paintings for sale through his website. He also regularly shares his newest artwork on his social media. You can check out more of them by continuing to scroll.

He discovered a new calling in 2011 when he visited a surf camp for the first time, and he was hooked right away. He went everywhere from New Zealand and Australia to Hawaii and California to catch the waves, but there were times when he felt stuck in his landlocked home country of Switzerland, despite its immense natural beauty.

He started working on his surfing-based illustrations in 2016, and his mindful approach made his art a huge hit on Instagram because it reminded people that happiness comes in waves and you just have to wait for the right one to come along.
