The brand Public Holiday is run by the talented Carly Buteux. It features “objects made by hand for slow living + fun times” and we’re absolutely in love!
As Buteux writes on the brand’s website, everything she makes is hand formed on the wheel before she gets to the decorating part. She finds beauty in imperfections and embraces the uniqueness and personality of each item.
Buteux lives and works in Sydney where she sometimes organizes sample sales that are pretty popular. After all, she does have 131k people following her Instagram page. It’s easy to get lost in her work as each of the items is beautiful in its own way while they all have something invisible in common, a signature style of the brand that makes it clear that they all came from the same hands.
