Mitchell Spain Ceramics are hand-crafted functional ceramic works by Mitchell Spain.

“Where fine art meets an obsession with technicality. Mitchell is a true artist creating one of a kind sculptural works and unique objects for everyday use,” his website reads.

Since childhood, Spain has been fascinated by “junk” objects left in old barn using these as his inspiration in creating his functional and sculptural work. He uses a trompe l’oeil technique to mask clay in a rustic façade, making “recycling” and “reusing” those found objects.

Today, he has created a wide range of products from cups and mugs, to threaded flasks and cone top bottles. Check out his latest creations below.
