“He may be “just a dog,” but he’s the one who plays Connect 4 with me when I want to escape the world for a bit,” it says in the text placed across the video, which received close to 4 million views.
Other TikTok users were amazed at Darrell’s abilities and hoped that he managed to win or that Adair would at least let him have it.
“please tell us you let him win,” one TikToker commented.
“you better let him win,” another added.
Adair later explained in the comments that sometimes she lets Darrell win, and other times, the dog lets her get a win. She also shared several follow-up videos showing more of their playtime.

]]>“I was captivated by the uncanny similarities between humans and their pets. It sparked an idea, and I started sketching a series inspired by these resemblances, having so much fun with it. Earlier this year that fascination lingered, so I decided to take it further and create human characters based on the personality and traits of animals,” Connie Kang said to Bored Panda.
But just how does she come up with the personification of so many animals? “I focus on highlighting the unique quirks and charm of both the animal and the human they’re inspired by. For example, a photo of an angry owl strutting might give me a strong mafia vibe. That led me to design a mafia boss character inspired by Al Pacino in The Godfather. I carefully emphasize traits that bring out humor and authenticity, creating a connection between the animal’s personality and the human interpretation,” Kang explained.
Kang takes the fur, scales, and feathers of animals and turns them into the clothing their human counterpart wears. After all, Kang says, humans have always been inspired by animals anyway.
“Fashion is a vital part of the storytelling in my work. The clothing reflects the character’s personality while staying true to the animal’s energy. For instance, if an animal exudes sleek elegance, the human counterpart might wear something retro and chic… Additionally, I draw heavily from the natural patterns and colors of animals themselves,” she told Bored Panda.

]]>The series was launched with a showcase of potential fashion choices of Australian Sheppard, Beagle, Boxer, Border Collie, Golden Retriever, and Great Dane. According to the creators, each breed would “pick out” fashion pieces based on their personalities and needs.
For example, an Australian Sheppard would go with practical outdoor gear considering their herding tasks and habit to explore the outdoors. On the other hand, Golden Retriever would pick out a yellow cashmere sweater, relaxed-fit blue jeans, and comfy loafers, showcasing their need for comfort and easygoing nature.
“How would different breeds of dogs dress? We sent our nature documentary team into the wild to investigate how different breeds of dogs would dress themselves, given the opportunity. Here’s what we found out, “The Maitrix explains in the caption of the video.
In the video showcasing the fashion choices of cats, a Persian cat is seen opting for elegance based on their grace and opulence, with their clothes being perfectly suited for “moments of contemplation in sophisticated surroundings.” Opposed to them is Orange Tabby, which dons denim-prominent attire to reflect their carefree spirit and complements their cool and composed demeanor.
If you enjoyed these couple of videos, you will be happy to hear that The Maitrix put together several other clips showing fashion choices of more breeds of dogs and cats. You can check them out on their official YouTube channel or by checking out the YouTube playlists below.

Their paper birds were then photographed in their natural environments, perched on a twig or soaring through the air.
Now, a couple of years later, and the duo is still hard at work, crafting their signature paper birds, as well as other animals. Each piece takes around 4-8 hours in total to complete, with their aim to make their miniature creations look as lifelike as possible. Her owner, Anna, added in an interview with Channel 7’s The Morning Show: “We do get noticed everywhere we go. Regular dog grooming is said to contribute to a pet’s well being and health, and can even improve their lifespan. Although it depends mostly on the breed, hair length, and type of coat, regular grooming should be done every once in a while. For young puppies and dogs who have never been groomed, more frequent grooming or brushing at home should be done to get the dog used to being handled and to avoid grooming issues into adulthood.
An important part of responsible dog care, it also adds to your pets overall cuteness, as SHU AND TREE clearly demonstrate.

“The main character is the non-moving dog, and my art skill is secondary,” she admits. “People laugh when they see these photos. They also praise the dog, who manages to stay still. Chihuahua-mametaro is cooperative. He’s usually quiet and kind, so he rarely gets angry at something.”
The costumes themselves have a DIY feel to them, made out of cardboard and cut into simply shapes and designs. How does Semba get her dog to wear his cosplay outfits? She simply tells him to “go home!” and Chihuahua-mametaro pops his head through the makeshift masks.
