Nowadays, you can get Bluetooth speakers in all sorts of designs and sizes. But, that wasn’t enough for YouTuber Penguin DIY, who decided to create one from a walnut.

In a video shared on YouTube, Penguin DIY documented a process of transforming a walnut into a fully functional Bluetooth speaker. The creator started by cleaning the walnut shell before fitting it with electronic and audio components. Every step of the process came with detailed instructions so the viewers could replicate the project by themselves.  

After all the work was done, Penguin DIY sealed the walnut shell and went on to test out their creation. Fascinatingly, the walnut Bluetooth speaker not only worked, but it worked quite well, producing quality sound and even having the control buttons to switch between the tracks.

“From the choice of the perfect walnut shell to the installation of modules, amplifiers, speakers, and a rechargeable battery, this project is a fusion of nature and technology,” Penguin DIY writes in the description of the video.
