]]> Emergency service workers like paramedics, firefighters, and cops have an important and stressful job, so you can’t blame them for deciding to have fun in recent weeks by taking part in the “Tetris Challenge.” This fun challenge has emergency services neatly organizing all the stuff they use in their line of work on the ground like Tetris blocks and then taking an aerial photo of their creation.

The “Tetris Challenge” started in early September, when Zurich police posted a photo on social media showing two officers lying on the ground while being surrounded by everything that can be found in their patrol car. After the photo went viral, emergency services from all over the world joined in on the fun and started sharing similar photos.

Hoe krijg je een ontspoorde of uit de rails gelopen trein weer 'in het spoor'? Daar heeft ProRail Incidentenbestrijding de herspoorcontainer voor! Hier zie je wat er allemaal in zit 🤩. Incidentenbestrijding van ProRail staat 24/7 paraat. We zijn georganiseerd in vier regionale eenheden. Daarnaast hebben we een groot aantal “satelliet-uitrukplaatsen” verspreid over het land, zodat we nog sneller ter plaatse kunnen zijn bij incidenten. Alarmmeldingen komen binnen bij de Meldkamer spoor, waarna wij in actie komen. Bij een ontsporing komt de herspoorcontainer zo snel mogelijk ter plaatse. De loodzware container staat op een vrachtwagen. Hij is aan de voorkant voorzien van gewichten, zodat hij niet loskomt van de grond. De vrachtwagen met container heeft aan de onderkant wielen waarmee je over het spoor kunt rijden. Heel handig om de container zo dicht bij een ontspoorde trein te kunnen krijgen. In de ‘herspoorcontainer’ zitten alle benodigdheden om een trein weer op het spoor te zetten. Dit doen de incidentenbestrijders voornamelijk met hydraulische pompen die zo sterk zijn dat ze een trein op kunnen tillen. Deze foto is gemaakt vanwege de uitdaging door Rijkswaterstaat om mee te doen aan de #TetrisChallenge. Nou daar is er dan nog een, check ook de andere foto op ons account!
