Surfing is a surface water sport in which surfers ride on the deep face of a moving wave. Usually surfing is done on beaches but indoor surfing is also an excellent way to master your surfing skills. It allows individuals to work on their techniques in a closed and safe environment.
A mall in Germany wanted to create something different and what better way than to install a wave pool in the heart of a commercial zone.
Wave pool manufacturers Citywave came up with this innovative technology and since launching this in shopping mall L & T, a lot of people, particularly surfers, have been catching a few good waves in this indoor pool. The pool was positioned on the ground floor in the middle of a large, circular balcony, allowing room for people to watch from the sides and above. Check out below.
