Jason Hardesty has been working as a UPS driver for quite some time, but delivering packages is definitely not the best part of his job. He often encounters adorable pups on the job, and his life turned upside down when he decided to start capturing their encounters.
Hardesty works as a UPS driver in New Orleans, and he started meeting a lot of pets while delivering parcels after being moved to a younger neighborhood. He enjoyed these encounters so much that he decided to capture one of them and decided to keep taking selfies with local dogs after seeing how much joy they brought to people.
Hardesty attracted a huge following over the years, and over 160,000 people can’t get enough of his Instagram posts. He ran into all sorts of different pets while delivering packages for UPS, but dogs still remain his favorites, especially golden retrievers.
“I’ve met rabbits, goats, and pigs. I of course found that interesting because you don’t normally find those in New Orleans neighborhoods. Maybe a few chickens here or there… Number one has to go to any rescue dogs. There’s a special place in my heart for people who give dogs a second chance,” he told Bored Panda.
