Shehrezade M. B., originally hailing from Islamabad, Pakistan, is a talented Toronto-based visual artist who creates amazing works by \u201cmanipulating Resin and Pigment through various chemical processes, using multiple layers of resin to create depth and dimension in her work,\u201d her website reads.\n
Though schooled in the traditional forms of art, the artist wanted to break away from the conventional art in both technique and subject matter and decided to develop her own signature style. In 2015, she took on highly charged, gestural approach to non-representational painting and her artworks are fuelled by the conflict between chaos and control that emerges from her conscious mind. She gives importance to her process which gives her the freedom to channel her inner impulses directly onto the canvas.\n
