Today, many artists are into graffiti art and you can see various paintings from animals to people, from landscapes to abstract.

Portuguese artist, Sergio Odeith, showcased his graffiti skills through his insect-inspired drawings. You can see a lot of his murals designed by these creatures and most of them are really creepy.

Odeith began making graffiti in the 90’s when it was first gaining popularity in his native country. He started with simple sketches on street walls and train tracks but later on, moved forward into large-scale murals. The artist’s special interest was in perspective and shading in an obscure style, which he referred to as “sombre 3D.”

In 2005, the Lisbon-based muralist was internationally recognized for his innovative incursions in the anamorphic art genre, “standing out for his compositions created in perspective and painted in different surfaces, such as 90º corners or from the wall to the floor, creating an optical illusion effect,” according to his website.
