In 2004, Paul Cocksedge and Joana Pinho founded Paul Cocksedge Studio and together with a dedicated team of collaborators, they won national and international recognition for their original and innovative design.\n
So it\u2019s no surprise that their latest project called \u201cLiving Watercolor Pavilion,\u201d has made it as one of the finalists for the UK Pavilion at Expo 2020 in Dubai.\n
\u201cOur design used thousands of overlapping translucent glass discs, in colors taken from the flags of every nation exhibiting at the event \u2013 to express unity, partnership and possibility,\u201d Cocksedge wrote on Instagram.\n
The sculptural artwork seems to be an \u201cimpossible\u201d living watercolor, with light and shade changing the environment throughout the day.\n
Unfortunately, their design was outdone by Es Devlin, the ultimate winner for the UK Pavilion competition.\n
