The \u201cfrittelle\u201d or \u201cfritole\u201d (in venetian), are amazing sweets from Venice typically prepared during the famous carnival of the city. The traditional ones only have raisins and pine nuts but nowadays you can find them filled with custard, zabaione or chocolate.
