Donna Wilson is a textile designer who created this wonderful collection of chairs and benches called Abstract Assembly. She also makes all kinds of products that make your home comfier and cozier and posts them on her Instagram page followed by over 80k people.

The chair backs we want to talk about today were inspired by Wilson’s watercolor paintings. Like all her work, they are made by hand, using premium materials — in this case, oak, beech, and Douglas fir wood. There are only ten of each design available, which only makes them more special.

“A year ago I embarked on a new direction with the main purpose to satisfy my creativity. With no idea where it would take me, I started drawing and painting in the evenings. The next step was for me to bring these abstract doodle to life and start working in wood,” she told Design Milk.

See more of her work below.
