One thing we discussed was the paper I use (Lenox 100 by @legionpaper). It\u2019s much smoother than papers that are normally recommended for pastel. More tooth and texture absorbs more pigment. I prefer the smoother surface of Lenox, because I find the texture gets in the way of the finer details (like the icy bits in this detail of my drawing of sea ice in the Lincoln Sea!). The challenge is that it doesn\u2019t leave a lot of room for error or re-working since the paper can only handle a small amount of pigment. The upside is the paper tells me when it\u2019s done, so I can\u2019t agonize and re-work areas ad nauseam \ud83e\udd37\ud83c\udffb\u200d\u2640\ufe0f<\/a><\/p> <p style=\" color:#c9c8cd; font-family:Arial,sans-serif;
