Zaria Forman is a pastel artist who loves drawing glaciers. She often travels around the world and joins scientific expeditions where she has the chance to experience glaciers firsthand and to take many reference photos. When she comes home to Brooklyn, she turns her experiences into incredibly realistic pastel drawings.\u00a0\n\n\n\n

Are there microplastics in Antarctica?? I\u2019m partnering with @airbnb as they work with @oceanconservancy on an expedition to Antarctica that seeks to understand the potential environmental effects of microplastics reaching the Antarctic interior. Microplastics impacts us all. I recently learned that we consume 1 credit card's worth of plastic every WEEK! (Due to microplastics leaking into our drinking water & oceans, from our un-recycled plastic waste). This December @airbnb is inviting 5 volunteers to join environmental scientist Kirstie Jones-Williams and travel to Chile & Antarctica as citizen scientists. For more information about this volunteer opportunity & to apply, visit abnb.co\/Zaria
