Lindsey Hampton began as a graphic artist, but after falling in love with clay she found herself moving towards ceramic art. And, at least judging by her online presence, her choice was right. \n\n\n\n

\u201cMy design background has 100% influenced my ceramic work,\u201d she told\u00a0Sight Unseen. \u201cI didn\u2019t set out to make that happen, it was a very natural progression. As I was learning how to work with clay I didn\u2019t make the connection right away and I thought pieces were supposed to be earthy and organic. This was previous to the new wave of contemporary ceramics, Instagram and Pinterest and it was harder to come across things that weren\u2019t as traditional.\u201d \n\n\n\n
