No matter what your reason for writing, I will help you make it special and beautiful.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;Life today is busier than it has ever been!&#8221; she acknowledges. &#8220;But I think that is all the more reason why it is so special to slow down enough to write something meaningful, and personal, and show the person you\u2019re writing to how much you care.&#8221; When people talk to me about building their personal brands, they often want to start with logos and colour palettes, but that comes later. I always ask them first, WHY? Why do they want a brand? Why do they want to be seen, and what do they hope to gain from having a brand? \u2063 \ud83c\udf3f\u2063 Personal branding gets a pretty bad rap but I believe that a person\u2019s \u2018brand\u2019 can really be distilled into \u201cwhat matters to them.\u201d That\u2019s why I don\u2019t feel ick about the idea of having a personal brand: to me, it\u2019s just a public representation of what I stand for. So I ask my clients: \u201cIf I was to wave a magic wand that could take us five years into the future, in an ideal world, what would your creative\/business life look like?\u201d\u2063 \ud83c\udf3f\u2063 And for me, this picture is IT, my imagined ideal future.
