There’s something truly magical about coming across art that truly speaks to your soul and makes you feel seen and understood. People I’ve Loved was founded by Carissa Potter, and it now includes a group of artists “in search of the miraculous-yet-tragic definition of what it means to exist in this time and space.” After launching this visual brand and printing workshop in Oakland, California, Potter worked with many major brands, including Facebook, Pinterest, and YouTube.

According to the brand’s official website, People I’ve Loved illustrations explore nostalgic thoughts, buried longings, and hopes for the future. They embrace the whole range of emotions, making space for both joy and tears, because all these feelings are important in equal measure and they’re what makes us human.
