For example, the letter \u201cA\u201d originated from the Phoenician alphabet. It was originally turned sideways or upside down while its shape resembled one of an ox head.\n\n\n\n
The letter \u201cR\u201d has its origins in Ancient Egypt, where it mimicked the profile of a human head and was pronounced \u201cresh,\u201d which meant \u201chead.\u201d The Greeks and the Romans later modified the letter to suit their needs and gave it its current shape.\n\n\n\n
