John Atkinson is a cartoonist from Ottawa, Canada, who is best known for his funny series of webcomics Wrong Hands. These comics are full of witty puns and smart jokes that take inspiration from everyday life, history, pop culture, and more.
Atkinson has a knack for creating eye-catching illustrations and combining them with a special brand of humor. Not everyone might get his humor at first, but those who do think of it as unique and utterly hilarious.
Atkinson’s comics have been published in a number of publications, including TIME magazine. They also have a large following on social media, where they prompt all sorts of reactions from social media users, according to the author himself.
“Cartooning is a great way to extract the silliness bottled up in my head. Humor is subjective so it’s always interesting to read other people’s reactions to my work, “Atkinson shared in an interview with Bored Panda. “I get a wide range of comments from ‘This is hilarious’ to ‘You think you’re so clever, you’re not!’ to ‘I don’t get it.’ The last one is always my favorite. I usually like to respond ‘I don’t get it either’.”
